Day 2 of Washington

Today our friends took us to the Vista House overlook in Oregon. These pictures showcase the Columbia River and the beautiful greenery surrounding it. We then took a detour to downtown Portland and ate at Thia Peacock, which is the place to go when you come visit the Wood's! After that we found a really unique coffee shop in Vancouver. It was in a big, open industrial space and I had some "honey burst" tea that was very good :). We ended the day with some naps, church, and dinner. Tomorrow: Seattle!

Mini-vacation to Washington

This (long) weekend Eddie and I said goodbye to the coast, and weather, of California and arrived in Portland, Oregon. It was still light out at 9 o'clock at night. I tend to go to bed early so my body felt sleepy but my brain thought it was only 7.
